The Chivers family began farming in Histon, near Cambridge, England in the early 19th Century.
By 1873, the entrepreneurial Stephen Chivers and his sons had begun using their home grown fruit to make delicious jams and marmalades.

Cambridge is a city synonymous with quality, culture and class much like Chivers. Chivers dedication to making traditional, high quality preserves in a wide variety of flavours has been continued ever since, establishing the Chivers brand as a firm favourite around the world.
To this day Chivers Preserves are still produced in Histon, Cambridge and are currently exported to over 20 countries.
